Dual Installs

I learned my lesson from the last time.........

I am a vb.net developer who has Office 2003 on his computer.

I need to install my Office 2000 and install Office XP versions of Word and
Excel so I can get the object library to make it work with those
applications.

Last time I was in this situaiton, my Office 2003 installation became
corrupt and my project drew reference errors.

Please and I do mean please tell me step by step how to do this without
going through weeks of agony to get my Office install correct again.

Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!

You might want to consider Virtualpc or similar product, in order that you
keep at least a primary 'virgin' setup.
The general rule from MS when installing diff.versions of Office was to
install earlier version first and then install into seperate folders using
custom install method.
I believe I might have read, however, of problems installing OfficeXP and
Office2003 together

Ah, David, I see I have persuaded you to the VPC solution for running
separate Office applications under one boot partition. Good for you and how
is it working for you?

Still contemplating, I can see the advantage, but wondering as to whether my
accountant will question even more IT expenditure, for what after all is not
my core buis.
