Hi Lisa,
The best thing to do regarding DHTML is to just test it
in different browsers.
If the DHTML effect is more for appearance rather than
functionality, then it would really be your choice. For
example there are several DHTML effects within FP that
are only supported by IE, but they are that big of an
issue.
Your concern should be functionality, if the DHTML is a
menu / navigation or another key componet of your
website, you should make sure of cross browser support.
One thing I do is put a page up and then have a variety
of friends look at it in all different browsers and
computer types (Mac, AOL, Opera, Netscape, etc..)
This will allow you to troubleshoot an issue and then
determine how to correct it at the early development
stage, rather than the website is complete and I have a
problem stage.
