I am unable to open publisher files in Office 2000 with
Publisher 2000 SR-1, however, I can open the files in
another computer with Office 2002 Publisher. Message
says, unable to open other version. Both computers using
XP. Unable to work on same file in both computers. Is
there an upgrade?

Looks like your Publisher file is 2002 so you CAN'T open it with 2000. The
version of Windows doesn't have anything to do with that. Open it with 2002,
save as 2000.
