Emails, Sharepoint and project modeler

Hello:

I'm having three main problems concerning my EPM
installation.

1. I can create Sharepoint subwebs fore the proyects I
have defined manually and directly from sharepoint, I was
wondering why are they not automatically created. Should
the project manager be defined as a user somewhere in the
project/sql server, or is it fine if they are registered
in the enterprise resource pool and project web access?

2. The project modeler does not work. Once I try to create
a new model it allows me to introduce the projects and
resources I want, but when I click on Next to continue
there is an error message displayed: Unexpected error on
model server. Get in contact with the server
administrator. Does anybody know why this happens? OLAP
cube and portfolio analizer work properly. I don't have
Office XP installed though.

3. I think I have configured correctly the smtp server but
I'm unable to receive any mail which should be sent when I
assign new tasks to resources etc... Does anybody know any
step I may have forgotten or any needed configuration of
the server for sending emails. I'm trying to test this
with external email accounts, do I need to give any
private mail server specific configuration?

1) Most likely proxycfg.exe needs to be run
2) Most likely due to a known issue, contact Microsoft Support for an update
3) What do you mean by "configured correctly?" Are there errors in the
Application log?
