Enterprise Fields Not Showing

I've set up a map which imports MS Excel records into custom Enterprise
project fields. The execution seems to go OK, with the imported data visable
in the Project Web Access (edit project), but do not appear in the MS Project
Professional 2003, project information, custom fields boxes, or when the
particular field is added to a sheet/view etc. Why
