I can't open entourage, office x, and can't rebuild the database due to lack
of disc space. Is my database lost forever?
No, but you will need to clear up some disk space for general use as well.
See this page for help with clearing up space. I list several applications
that will help you find large files that you can delete or archive. Your
system needs a minimum of 10% free just to work. To rebuild you need much
more free space.

In order for you to rebuild, you will need to purchase an external drive and
install the OS and Office X. If this is not something you can do, I do this
as a consultant. You can contact me off list.
After you rebuild, your database could still be in an unstable condition. I
always export the data and create a new Identity for my clients so I know
they have a stable database.
