eraser is gone from Standard toolbar

I am not aware of having changed any settings, but the eraser tool has
disappeared from the Standard toolbar. I can only access it if I also open
the Pen/Writing toolbar which I do not want to have to do.

As far as I know the eraser has never appeared on the Standard Toolbar by
default. You can add it there if you want to: View | Toolbars | Customize.
On the Commands tab find the eraser (under Drawing and Writing tools if I
recall correctly) and drag/drop it to the Standard toolbar.

It was there when I first used OneNote after taking the tour but
disappeared. I had to reboot the computer for another program and when I
entered OneNote to follow your suggestion, the eraser is back again - in the
standard toolbar.

Should it disappear again, I'll now know what to do. I had tried this
early, but I did it incorrectly and it didn't work.
