Error opening word document via ftp

Hi,

I am trying to open a document via ftp but get a message box with a 'could
not find filename' message.

I was able to save the file via ftp, reconnecting is the problem.

I have no problem opening my files with Frontpage using ftp. In Word I can
even navigate down to the file before attempting to open it.

I am using windows xp professional with ms word 2002.

I would of course be extremely grateful for any suggestions.
