Can anyone help?
I recently installed Excel 2007 (as part of Office 2007 installation) on a
Vista platform and everything worked fine - although still trying to
understand what happened to some of the previously cherished commands that I
used in Excel. However, after installing further software, I now get the
following message whenever I open Excel:
Microsoft Visual Basic run-time error: '-2147467259 (80004005)'
Method 'Add ' of object 'CommandBarControls' failed.
If I hit the end button at the end of this message Excel then seems to
function OK - but I then will get the message the next time I open Excel.
This is rather annoying and worrying - and the message is totally
meaningless to me.
Do I need to uninstall and re-install Office 2007/Excel 2007?
Any help much appreciated.
