Excel File from Project Plan that shows hours by month

I want to create an Excel file from the Project Plan, but I wanted in the
GANT view style. Fields that are needed are:

- WBS
- Text 1 field
- Task Name
- Start
- Finish
- Work

If there are multiple resources assigned to one Task, I need multiple lines
for that one task, one for each resource. I don't want a comma separated
field for the resources assigned. All the above fields need to also be in
each line.

I also would like the associated hours by the above fields by month,
similiar to the Resource Usage View.

Is there a way to get this type of download/export or report or, am I asking
too much ????

Sorry, I read and responded to your later post before reading this one.
The type of output you want is achievable but it will take some VBA to
get it. I've written similar custom macros for users as I'm sure others
have also.

Basic data can be exported via the Analysis Toolbar, but the graphical
display you want and some of the data would have to be created/exported
using VBA
