Excel formula bar

The formula bar is between the top column headings and the
toolbars. If it's not visible goto the main menu and
select View>Formula bar.

In the Menu bar, click on:
<View> <FormulaBar>
OR
<Alt> <V> <F>
To toggle "On" and "Off".
