Exchnage Server Name change

Marnus

Hi

I need to move mailboxes to another server and the old server will be removed which means that I need to do a check name on all the machines. Does anyone know how Outlook references an Exchange server? The reason I am asking is that I have found on some machines that the users cannot send mail after changing the exchnage server name (NDR's)

Has got some advice/script that might assist me in the process? (All the users run XP)

if you are using exchange 2000, you do not need to do a
check name on the users. Outlook will refer the closest
DC\GC and get the required information.
