Exporting Summary Tasks to Excel

Hi

When I export timephased task data to Excel from Project Pro 2003, summary tasks are left blank. This seems to be because the export includes totals at the bottom based on SUMIFs using the chosen field names (so that including data for the summary tasks would result in some double counting). Can this be changed? I would really prefer the summary data to be there so that I can generate S curves at different hierarchical levels. Any suggestions for other ways of doing this?
