EZ Backup?

Hi all:

I have just joined and have what I'm sure is a very simple question.
am running Outlook 2000 from Office XP. What I'm looking to do is bac
up all of my mail and folders (along with the Favorites from my we
browser, which is IE), so that I can reboot my computer from scratc
and reinstall everything - I've got a pretty serious glitch.

What's the easiest way to backup all that info from Outlook? I don'
have anything in my calendar, etc to worry about. Is there a simpl
way to back it all up into one folder, with one or two steps, so that
can then back up that folder on CD from which I can import it all afte
the reboot?

Thanks so much,

locate your .pst file and copy it ( closing outlook first of course ). (
you say 2000 out of Xp and that doesn't make much sense. XP was 2002
level...)

to save favorites look for a Favorites folder under "Documents and
Settings\%username%" if you are using win2k or higher. Other OS also have
the folder but in other places. If you need help post OS here...
