File extension

I continue to get E-Mail attachments with the file extension .email which are
images but they open to text jibberish on my Win 98SE system. Does anyone
know what it takes to open a .email file extension message?

This is probably because the one sending you the message isn't using a
non-MIME compliant mail client.

You can try this utility but it is actually intended for those non-MIME
clients and not for the receiver.
