FILE FOLDERS PROBLEM

I have accidentally reset all of my folders to come open as a search for
files or folders instead of opening what is in them.... I tried resetting
defaults and also to change actions listed under the actions for the file
folders in the control panel folder options but neither is working,,, I just
want them back to open normally,,, anyone who can help??? THANK YOU
