File in FP Disappeared

At my site, I have a sub site. When I click in FP
on "open site", I click on the main site URL and then on
the sub site folder. However, I got a message yesterday
that the sub site could not be parsed. I closed FP and
rebooted. When I went back into FP, the sub site folder
had completely dissappeared altogether, but the active
site is still accessible on the Internet. With the
folder missing. What happened? Where did the folder
disappear to? How do I get it back so I can edit my site?

Try running a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks or having your host run a server health check
