File Save As location

When I try to save a file in MS Office, it seems to open a random folder. Is there a way to force Office to open the folder from which I opened the file? In the alternative, can one force it to go to the folder to which I last saved a file? I did search the knowledge base could not find anything that addressed my issue. Any help is much appreciated

Try Tools | Options | File Locations. Set the "Documents" location where
you'd like it to go.
