files accidently deleted

I believe I accidently deleted some of the hidden files and folders of my
web. As a result I get an error message when trying to make changes.
Please advise how I can replace these files.

This time you have to go back and rebuild those pages. When finished
rebuilding, make back-up copies each time before making new changes, and save
them on your computer as well as cd or floppy. Then when you make such a
mistake, just reload the back-up copy.

Let me see if I can explain this better. I believe I deleted some files
that are frontpage files, meaning program files, that were in a folder such
as fpclass. I now get the below error message when I try to amend a file or
page in anyway. Is there anyway to fix my mess?

500 Internal Server Error
