filter out split tasks

When I filter for tasks that are being worked on today it shows me tasks that
have a split in them as well,

This happens even though the split is set over today and means that that
task is not being worked on today.

how can i filter out the split section of the task?

Ellebelle,
Sorry if I already posted a reply - I had a power dump last night and it
messed up my clock.

The split portion(s) of split tasks is not something directly available
as a field in Project. Therefore some indirect means is needed for your
filter. There are basically two choices - manually flag split tasks and
use the flag in your filter or use VBA to automatically identify splits
that occur during the period of interest (data on split tasks IS
available through VBA).

Hope this helps.
