filter resource group + dependencies may not incl resource group

[filter resource group with all dependenc]

I want to show all the tasks belonging to a resource group as well as any
dependencies or successors for those tasks (which may or may not include the
resource group folks).

Anyone know a quick way to get this in a report type format (Gantt preferred).

There isn't any "quick way". Probably the easiest, but certainly not the
most convenient, would be to use a spare flag field to tag all links to
tasks that have the resource group assigned. Then just filter on the
group and the flag field.

The process can be automated with VBA but unless you are conversant with
Project VBA, that approach may not help much. However you might want to
take a look at fellow MVP, Jack Dahlgren's website at:

Jack has a macro called "Trace" that might help.
