This can be of use to many network users, so I don't think that I am the
first to ask this question.
I want to create a table, (or similar) that lists files inside a directory,
including date/time created, such that when the file is changed, the
mailmerge function in word will send a message to certain users (such as a
sales team), that an updated file was added.
If I use "directory" from word, I do not get the date/time.
If I use "dir" from command.com, I get all the info I want, and can
manipulate it into separate cells within a table inside word.
If the date/time is different, I want the table updated, and mailmerge
activated automatically. Mailmerge will only inform end user that a
particular file was added/changed/deleted.
This "DIRECTORY" file will be opened by anyone that sends an updated file to
this network folder.
Any idea's

P.S., I hope that other network users can find an advantage to this.
