Font error message

Jim

When using the copy a new sheet command in a workbook,
after making copies of some sheets, I get a "No more new
fonts may be applied in this workbook".

Trying to click on the "ok" button seems to have no affect
and I need to force quit (system X).

Any ideas on what this error message means, since to my
knowledge I'm not doing anything with fonts.

Thanks,

I stepped upon this problem once in a huge workbook in a
Windows version of Excel. The problem seemed to be related
to the large number of graphs imbedded in the sheets. I
could copy the same sheet a certain number of times and
then had the same error message (and of course, nothing to
do with the fonts, obvioulsy).

Couldn't exactly track the problem, but it seemed to work
a bit longer on other machines. Then ended up with the
same message. I suspect it has something to do with the
number of objects (or of names) contained in the workbook
and/or with available memory.

Is there anything specific about your sheets? I mean in
size, or style, or kind of objects...

Did you apply the 10.1.2, 10.1.4 and 10.1.5 patches by the
way, you didn't mention.
