Footnotes/Cross references

I would like several cross-references to the same footnote (marked *). I
seem to be having problems achieving this - I'm sure I asked about it months
ago but can't find the answer in my saved replies.

Could anyone help please - or is it possible to check archives for quite
some time ago.
