Form Field Historical Data

R

Rick Collins

Hi - I do not want people who fill out my form on the web
to be able to see previous entries in each field. How do
I turn off the automatic pull down of like data in each
field.

Thanks,

Rick.

If you mean, like, the pull-down choices that appear
below a text box, I don't believe you can control that
via the HTML, or with Javascript, or CSS, or whatever.
It's a local browser configuration.

If this is an ultra-high security requirement, I suppose
you could have an ASP or ASP.NET page generate form field
names composed of 20 or 30 random characters. Of course,
you would have to remember those names on the server
somehow, so you could process the form submission.
