I am working on a client's database and want to have a button on one form
open another form and relate it to a specific field. I have the code working
correctly. However, the client mentioned that when they use the wizard to
create the command button to open a form, it does not show all the fields
from both forms so that you can indicate how the tables that the forms are
based upon are linked. They are linked in the Relationship window but they
don't show in the wizard.

Judy,

I am confused...

1. Yes, you can have a button on one form to open another form but what do
you mean by "...relate it to a specific field."?

2. Then you say, "...it does not show all the fields from both forms..."
When adding a Command button there are no fields to show. You would select
an action to perform. Are you sure you're talking about a Command button.

3. You go on to say, "...so that you can indicate how the tables that the
forms are based upon are linked." The tables may be *linked*, via PK-FK;
but that has nothing to the how the forms are *linked*, form/subform. Forms
have a RecordSource that could be a query which is where your tables would
be *linked*. But this still won't show when adding a Command button.

So perhaps you should explain what it is you are trying to do because as I
said in the beginning, I am confused.
