Formated Fonts Lost

Under text style, summary tasks are supposed to be bold and black fonts.
However, not all summary tasks in my project scheduled are being displayed in
bolded black font. Is there a reason why all summary tasks in my schedule
are not showing up in bold black text?

You may have formatted these directly by selecting the cell and changing the
formatting. They are then marked as exceptions and changing styles under
Text Styles won't work on these. Select the summary task name in question
and select Edit-Clear Formats or to remove all exceptions to the names of
tasks, click on the Task Name column and select Edit-Clear Formats.

I did as you suggested and it appeared at first that you hit the nail right
on the head. However, when I did a collapse and expand to outline level 2 or
3....the rollups were not being shown as black and bold...they went to a
un-bolded black font. I have several levels of indentions and some roll-up
summary bars only have a roll-up summary bar underneath and no real tasks.

It does not apprear that the font attributes are consistent throughout my
project schedule. A summary task that has 5 tasks underneath and the summary
task is bolded. Five more lines down at the same indention level, summary
task in not bolded and also has five tasks underneath it....

Confused and dazed...

For those that don't revert to bold, can you click on them and select
Edit-Clear Formats? If so, it may be that the summary tasks that are still
not bold were not displayed when you selected the column and did Edit-Clear
Formats. Clearing the formatting will only work if the summary task is
currently displayed. Try expanding all summary tasks (Show-All Subtasks on
the toolbar), selecting the Name column again and selecting Edit-Clear
Formats...

I selected the entire project and did a show all subtasks before I selected
all again the did a clear format...

The only thing I can think of is that these tasks are Marked. Show the
Marked column and see if the summary tasks in question are marked (have a
Yes in the Marked column). If so, they will display using the "Marked Task"
style as defined in Format-Text Styles.
