Formats change when using Auto Fill

When I try to use auto fill from an existing row that has
various cell formats, it does not complete the fill with
the existing formats. So the outcome is different than
what I started with. Like I have 4 columns, one is a
number format, one is date, one is currency etc. When I go
to pull info with the black plus sign it does not copy the
exisiting formats and the numbers are completely different
than what I want them to be or what they are in above
rows. I hope this makes sense. Any ideas how to force the
formats to stay and not change?

Only suggestion I have is to do a copy / paste special
values - formatting.
