Forn View - Resource Work

When assigning resource to task in the Resource Work view, the drop down
resource list appears in Resource ID order. Is there a way for the drop down
list to show Resource Name order?

Hi MSPLearner,

Yes, you can. If you sort the Resource Sheet (Project > Sort > Sort by)
and select the option for Permanently renumber resources, the drop down
list will display with the new sort order.

One more question. I am using a resource pool file. So before I sort and
permanently renumber resources, I should open all the sharer files, right?

Yes, I would recommend opening all files read/write perform the sort,
then save and close.
