FP02 Text & Graphics disappear

Can you please help me again, I had this issue last April
or May, where everything on page disappears when
I 'save', no matter how many times. I have three websites
for customers and I will lose everything-again! I re-
installed into new computer and can't remember what I had
to do, but I think it had something to do with browsers
in the tool menu.

Have you tried the usual repairs in the sequence below:
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
Usually in C:\WINDOWS\Temp and %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp
- in FP 2003 you need to look in the super hidden folder
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\FrontPageTempDir
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
Usually in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
3) Run a Repair on IE
(see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=318378 )
4) Install all Service Packs for your OS, IE, MS Office and your Video card
(Windows Update and Office Update sites, plus your video card supplier site)
5) Open FP and Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins,
6) Open your FP Web/Site and run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks

Please advise following settings should be if I am using
IE in FP02:
TOOLS, Page Options, Compatability tab, what
should "Browsers" read and "Servers" little window. Your
advice on cleaning and deleting not pertinent. Any way I
can access old messages from April and May of '04? thanx.
