front page 2003 "template"

My web site has a basic "template" design, one i made. the content within
the page is different from page to page. Is there a way, if i change the
basic layout on the "template" it will change on all pages with the same
"template"?

Use a Dynamic Web Template. Change and save a DWT and all attached pages
will be updated.
