Gantt bar text over multiple rows

Hey guys,

To the right of my task bars I am displaying resource names. The problem is
some of them have six or eight resources, and they are displayed in a big
long line. I want them to be displayed on multiple rows, one beneath the
other. I want to do this so that I can print the gantt view with everything
fitting on one page. Is there any way to do this?

Ok. The other way I could present this information is by using the Resource
Names column. Is there a way to set the column at a fixed width, and then
make it automatically set the height based on how many resources each task
has?

Hi JD,

Sorry, no. The resource names field in the Gantt chart will not wrap
as Project only wraps text on spaces. See the KB article:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/70089

for a workaround if changing the list separator to space. **I do not
recommend this as it affects all programs, not just project.**

Have you thought about displaying Resource Initials next to the Gantt
bars instead of Resource Names?

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
