Gantt view-Summary Only Lock

Hello,

I'm using MS Project 2000. Is there a way that I can lock the Gantt view so
that it always will only show the summary tasks? Whenever I start using the
Task Usage view, it automatically expands my Gantt view as well.

Try View/More Views...
Select Gantt and then select Edit.
In the filter select "All Tasks"
OK.

Now, whenever you select the Gantt View, the filter will be automatically
applied.
However, it is best to do this against a custom view not the default
Microsoft views

So sorry. I was reviewing my response and i must have been in left field.
Change that filter from "all tasks" to "Summary Tasks" ... now you have the
