GBUI error message - URGENT!

J

Jef

My MS Project 2003 Standard just started giving me an
error message at startup that says:

"The command is attempting to use a web page
gbui://blank.htm" It goes on to tell me tha I need to
add the site as a trusted site in Explorer.

No matter what I do, nothing works. Any help or insight
out there?

Thanks in advance!

Jeff,

Have you gotten answer on tis. I came across the same
exact problem and nothing works. If you got the solution,
I 'd like to know what you did.

Thanks

George,

None - and I've searched all over for a viable solution. I did, however,
find a work-around, but it doesn't solve the larger problem. The work-around
is this:
1. Add the sites listed in the error message in Internet Explorer. This
will allow you to open the program without an error message. (You won't be
able to open any programs though)
2. Go to Tools>Options>Interface
3. Unclick "Display Project Guide" and then hit OK

You can then use the program. But you will not have Project Guide
functionality. That's where I'm at right now. If you find a solution to
enable Project Guide functionality, please let me know.

I just started getting the same message too! I suspect it is related t
installing service pack 2. I have turned off the POS firewall that cam
with SP2, bit still can't get to Project. If you get an answer let m
know to
