i can not open project

I get a screen that saids
The command is attempting to use a web page from site gbui://blank.htm/.
you have not idntified this site as a trusted site in internet explorer.
even if i put that website in the trusted site I still can not open the
Project program

do any body not what to do about this ..
please let me know

It looks like the file that's used for the Project guide got set incorrectly.
Since you can't open Project, you should try fixing this through the
registry.

Go to Start - Run and type RegEdit. This opens the registry.
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER - Software - Microsoft - Office - 11.0 - MS
Project - Options
Delete the Interface folder.
Try opening Project again.

I try that but still not working
it looks like it opens but i can not use it because the message screen is on
top and i can not close it not even i hit ok many times just keep coming back

Good Afternoon,

I followed the kb message and followed the regedit to a "T" for a Project
2002 fix. The install is in a corporate environment so the image is on the
local machine. I preface with that statement because the validation dialog
box appears every time we open MS Project 2002. We accept the validation
request and it says the validation is complete until we reopen Project again.

I understand that this is an old thread but this issue is a little weird
and I'm curious if anyone has experienced this same issue.
