get contact list from saved file after upgrade to XP

I recently upgraded from Windows 98 to XP Home. They saved all my files and
put them into a saved file. I find Outlook in there but can not get my
contacts moved into my Outlook.

What version of Outlook? Do a search of your backed-up files and find any
with the .PST extension -- you might possibly have to look within hidden
files though it's unlikely the person who backed up your data would have put
the .PST in a hidden folder.
