Go to File New I get copy of recent scanned document?

When I open a new blank file in MSOffice2000 I get a copy of a document I
recently scanned. How can I fix it?

Office is a suite, not an application; you need to be more specific as to
which application within the suite you're having issues with.

I'm going to assume it's Word (in which case a Google search would have
provided you with an answer). You need to search for the normal.dot file,
either rename it or delete it and then restart Word.
