Graphic imported into PowerPoint from MS Visio

I have prepared a PowerPoint presentation in MS Office v.X. (I am
running Mac OS X 10.3). A colleague running a Windows version of
PowerPoint created a PP slide for me by importing a graphic into it
from MS Visio. This slide opened fine in the Windows version of
PowerPoint. When I tried to open it in MS Office v.X PowerPoint the
whole program crashed. I then sent the MS Office v.X presentation to
the Windows computer & had the new slide (with the imported MS Visio
graphic) dropped into the presentation & sent back to me. The revised
presentation opened fine on my Mac, but when I got to the slide with
the imported graphic, the whole program crashed again.

Anyone got any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Tahnks in advance.

Have your colleague insert the Visio graphic, ungroup it, then regroup it.
That converts the graphic from OLEwhateverItMightBe to PowerPoint shapes,
which will be a lot easier for Mac PPT to digest, if you'll forgive the
excessively techno-anthropomorphic answer. <g>

Thanks a lot for the advice. This worked (almost) perfectly - I lost a
few minor parts of the graphic, but nothing serious.
