I have reviewed:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932311/en-us
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/915573/en-us
They do not address issues in working with Groove 3.1 and Groove 2007
concurrently. I have lots of legacy work in Groove 3.1 on my office machine.
I now have Groove 2007 on a laptop. I formerly had easy access to the
Groove 3.1 content across both machines... it did a great job of
synchronizing my work on the two machines. What issues might I encounter by
using my Groove 3.1 account on my office machine to grant access/share work
spaces with my laptop which has Groove 2007? How do I make the first step?
When I attempt to start Groove 2007, it finds the legacy Groove 3.1 account
on the laptop and asks to upgrade it. Will this action leave the legacy data
intact on the original machine? This matter of transition seems undocumented
for Groove 2007.
Thanks, John
