Groove not syncing

We have 3 systems in a Groove Workspace and since at least last week they
are not syncing. I can find no errors anywhere. Data placed in any of the
three member PC's is not showing up elsewhere. We can however send messages
to member PC's and members with no delay.

Also I have noticed a "Folder Share" we also do with Groove is reporting
strange file sizes. On one PC it reports 45GB, another 16GB yet actually
there is only some 5MB in it.

Hi James,

The difference has to do with then number of members in the space that have
to receive data from the space. The Groove client will hold the transaction
data until all space member accounts have reported that the data has been
received. There is no way to compact this data or to stop this from
happening as this is core Groove functionality. Space size will fluctuate
between clients – the dependence being on how much data has been added by the
client and how much data needs to be synchronized to other members.

The size of the space will depend on how many transactions need to be
delivered to all members of the space. So offline and online status of space
members will play a part in the size of the space. The number of
transactions along with the number of members who have not received those
transactions will add into the size of the space. If a space member is
offline or if there if they are online but have a slower connection speed,
that will hinder space data and transaction delivery – thus increasing the
size of the space for the originator of the transactions.

So what you can do to eliminate this is to uninvited members who are no
longer actively participating in the space along with deleting data that is
no longer being used in the space.
