Grouping

hi all

I am trying to group a text box and an object but the group links are all
greyed out - any ideas?

It's just not giving me the option to do it - the option to begin a group is
completely greyed out, I've never seen it before.

I'm confused. I've never heard of "beginning" a group. If you have zero
or one object selected, the Group button is disabled as there is nothing
to group. Select the text box, hold Shift and select the object (so both
should now be selected), and the Group button should become enabled.
