Help! all project tasks are starting on the same day-

Hi - I am a new user and am scheduling a small project. At this time, I have
not added resources (people), but instead am trying to create the schedule
based on available working hours per day as I have assigned in the project
calendar (to 19 hours per day, that will be spread accross 3 engineers). For
some reason, the project is scheduling every task to begin on the same day
with no regard to the 19 hour contraint. The duration of my project has
defaulted to the duration of the longest task - so it's super compressed.
There are not dependencies between the tasks. Can anyone help?

I'm a little confused to the problem. You have not made logic ties? How many
task are we talking about? Will there be one resource per task?
With no ligic in the schedule, all task will begin on the project start date.

One more thing, Go to Tools>Options>Calculation and turn the calculation to
Automatic. As you make logic ties the task will move in time. It might be
helpful to add the Task Form on the view. Right moust click in the graphic
area and click on Split. The task form will pop up. Now right mouse click in
the task form area and then click on one of the options. Good Luck.
