HELP: Cannot open any Office porgrams properly - Microsoft Word has not been installed for the curre

Hi,

I am having problems opening any of the programs in Office 2003.

For example, every time I try and open Word it tries to install
components even though it worked for months before.

It pops up a diaglo message to say "Microsoft Word has not been
installed for the current user".

Why is it doing this??

I did a search on the web and I thought I found a solution:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=898512

I tried this fix and it still won't work. There was already full
access already to the file.

Could it be a Service Pack issue? or another program I installed which
is conflicting with Office 2003 or just permission.

Please help!!!!

Regards
Simon

Try restartin the computer. Logging in the Administrator account and do
the steps as mentioned in the links that you mentioned in your post.
Quit and then restart your computer and login to your account that has
the problem and see if it works. This is just a last effort thing. Let
me know if it works.

No it didn't work.

I ended up having to remove Office and re-installing it. That did the
trick.

Thanks for your help anyway.
