Help! I can't publish to the web!

Paulos

I have tried to activate the publish to the web selection under file, and
find myself unable to do so. I also cannot utilize "Remote Web Site". I
would like to put one of my finished webs on the web, is there a way I can
activate this part of FrontPage?

Open FP
File | Open Website (the one on your machine)
Then you will see
File | Publish Website

Sounds like you may not have created a website.

I have created a website. For some reason the publish your website command
does not work.

What version of FP?

Exactly what is not working? What errors do you get? What steps are you
taking to publish your web?

Does your remote web server have FrontPage extensions installed and working
?

Hi Rob!
I just purchased FP 2003. I can' t even get errors.

I have composed a web page and saved it.

Whe I wen to publish the page to the site, the option "pulish site" was
grayed and unable to be activated. I then looked looked up what to do in the
help section of FP. It said to go to view and select "remote website." I
tried thhis, and found it too greyed, and unable to be activated. Could it
be that the program is defective.

But, did you create a web site *first* before you created a page and saved
it? You must have a web site created and opened before you can File |
Publish.
