Version of OL?
OL has no newsreader capability it uses the OE newsreader. This can also be
accessed from IE or a desktop shortcut eg "%ProgramFiles%\Outlook
Express\msimn.exe" /outnews
dAVID

To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel |
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch
it, click the "Don't ask me again" box and then click the No button.
You may need to reset the menu or toolbar using Tools, customize.

I've followed the instructions in Outlook 2003 help, and the above,
and moved News into the "Go" drop down menu OK. However, next time I
go look for it, it's gone again - disappeared from the Go menu AND
from the customize window!

Getting it there doesn't seem to be a problem, but keeping it there
certainly is!
