Help on this: keep receiving multiple emails

recently my outlook keep receiving multiple emails, they are all the same,
for one sigle email, I may get 2-5 copies received in outlook. I think there
is nothing going on with my ICP, cause i've leave a copy on the server, and
view emails via Web interface without downloading by pop3, none email is
duplicated.

First I thought it maybe email scaning software that keep creating copies of
the same email. I boot to safemode with network support, no other program
was loaded, but the same issue happen again, and the currently network
connecting is ok, i can view emails via web page.

In order to fix this issue, I recover my winxp from a ghost image which i
create it after all drivers and a clean office was installed. Then i config
my outlook, load my personal folder file *.pst, but the symptom happen
again.

Now I think there must be something wrong with outlook, I've bee using the
same personal folder file *.pst for a year, it's now over 1GB.

What happens if you disable the AV and Firewall scanning your incoming and
outgoing mail? You may need to uninstall it and reinstall while leaving
off the scanning portion to fix this.

It's strange that I boot to safemode with network support, and norton is not
running, but still received multiple emails, first it's just duplicated,
days later it's getting more. After that I recover system from a ghost
image, and install Kaspersky Antivirus instead of nav, same issue happen
agian.

I've also try uncheck "leave a copy on POP3 server", thus once the email
it's downloaded, pop3 server will delete the emails, but this doesn't work
either.

What could I do next? is ther anybody have the same issue like me? I guess
after outlook receive a email, it will send a acknowledge messege to POP3
server telling "I've finished download, you can delete the email", but POP3
didnt get the messege, email remains, outlook start another round of
downloading, over and over, multiple emails was created.

and I noticed that all the email are exactly of the same date and time. Any
solutons?
