HELP! Overflow Tasks

A

Adam

I'm trying to print a calendar view of a project plan. In between the
months/pages i get other pages with a list of "Overflow Tasks" on them.

How can i get rid of these pages? or Hide the list of "Overflow Tasks"

Thank you

Hi Adam,

You have, unfortunately found one of the limitations of printing the
calendar view. The"overflow" tasks are tasks that cannot fit into the week
for the print. Possible work arounds may be to collapse up the summary tasks
to print only those tasks. (You will clearly be missing details.)

You may also try formatting the bars in the calendar view to show lines
instead of bars to try to squeeze some more tasks into the week.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Adam,

With the Calendar view displayed, choose Format > Bar Styles from the
menu. In the Task Type list select "Noncritical". Under the Bar shape
heading the Bar type is most likely "Bar". Click the drop-down and
select "Line" for the bar type. Repeat as needed for Critical task.

Click OK. Each critical and noncritical task should now be represented
as a line in the Calendar view, not a bar.
