I have had to change my hard drive, upon reinstalling
my Microsoft Word it is asking for a number in which is
not on the CD cover. It will not accept the Number that
is on the CD. Could you help me solve this issue?

The product key is supposed to be on a small orange label on the back of the CD case. To obtain a replacement product key for a retail version of Word/Office, see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;823570. If your copy of Word/Office was preinstalled by the manufacturer of your computer, you will have to contact the manufacturer.

If you got Word as part of Works Suite and subsequently installed Office,
your copy of Word was not overwritten; the CD key required will be the one
for Works Suite.
