Can anyone help, I've done a stupid thing and typed over a very important document then I saved the changes. I haven't a clue if I can retrieve my original document, can anyone help I'm desparate. Oh, I'm not very computer literate I only know the basics so If anyone can help me, please tell me in English and not computer talk.

If the document is still open, you can use Undo to get the original document
back; save it under the original filename, the Redo and save again under a
different name. If you've closed the document but have "Always create backup
copy" enabled on the Save tab of Tools | Options, then display All Files and
look for "Backup of <filename>.wbk," which will be the previous version. If
you don't have this option enabled, now you know why you should!
