How can I create a default positon for "save window"

S

Shayndel

When I save a document, I sometimes have to include information in the
document in the name. In Word 2002 I would position the "save" window screen
to the right of the screen so I could see the information in the letter.
Subsequently, every time I opened the save screen in the same document, it
would stay in the same position. In 2003, the "save" window always opens in
the middle of the screen, thus hiding the info in the letter.

Is there a way to make a default position for the save window?

Thanks-

In my copy of Word 2003 (2007 also) the Save/SaveAs Dialog opens at the size
and in the position it was last used. I wasn't aware that this behaviour ws
selectable.
